Looks like it's going to be a lot of traveling this Christmas, thanks to low gas prices that are still on the decline.

In an email from SmartMark Communications, it was stated that AAA auto club forecasted that a record 100.5 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more way from home over the upcoming Christmas holiday, between Dec. 23 and Jan. 3. Much of this is attributed to the average price for regular gasoline being $2.01 per gallon, and the price could drop even lower before Christmas.

Gas prices this Thanksgiving were the lowest in years, and heating costs this winter have been down as well, putting a bit more money in people's pockets this holiday season.
