Family Gathering: Who’s Bringing the Dessert?

I happened to watch James Wright Chanel's "Patti Pie" video a few hours after he posted it, and it tickled me so bad that I decided to grab one that night to see if it would live up to the hype he'd built.  I'll admit, it was pretty good. 

As he stated on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, it had no strings. This is pretty important to potato pie connoisseurs. However, it wasn't long before people started sharing negative reviews of the pie.  Even more said they wouldn't even try the pie because nothing store-bought could compare to the baking of someone they love or sometimes themselves.

With that being said, who in your hometown or family bakes the best sweet potato pie or any other dessert?  Name the person and their specialty.
