Madison and Shepherd are delighted to help host the charity fashion show Runway for Relief at the Ferguson Ballroom, 751 Campus Dr., on the University of Alabama campus tonight at 7.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., so come early and get a good seat.

The proceeds from Runway for Relief benefit the rebuilding efforts of those affected by the tornado that hit Tuscaloosa on April 27.

The idea for the fund raiser was brought to Rebuild Tuscaloosa by Amanda Perna, a former "Project Runway" fashion designer and University of Alabama graduate.

Amanda has designed some amazing pieces along with UA's House of Eprouver.

Leah Bromley of Rebuild Tuscaloosa joined Madison and Shepherd in the studio this morning.

Asked why the community should come out and support this event, she explained: "It's a different type of fund-raising event." It's "exciting and fun for the entire family. It will benefit families still struggling to rebuild."

The theme of the fund raiser is Alabama game day attire, so come out to see some unique new looks to wear during the football season. Tickets are $10 and include the opportunity to win raffle prizes from local boutiques, restaurants and concert tickets.

Runway for Relief also has planned a live auction of runway fashions.

We will have pictures and a follow-up Wednesday morning on "Madison and Shepherd," beginning at 6 a.m. Be sure to listen and check out all the photos and our recap exclusively at 953thebear.com.
