Fetty Wap is on the mend after being injured in a motorcycle accident over the weekend. Reps for the “My Way” rapper issued a statement regarding his health.

As we previously reported, the 25-year-old rhymer was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle in his hometown of Paterson, N.J., on Saturday (Sept. 27). Wap was released from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson on Sunday (Sept. 27) and is recuperating at home. The female driver of the vehicle was also injured and was treated at a local hospital.

Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale told NorthJersey.com that Wap was hit with three summonses, including one for driving without a license. The "Trap Queen" rhymer also received tickets for not having insurance and for failure to produce a vehicle registration card.

Reps for the rapper issued a statement regarding his health:

Fetty Wap was involved in a motorcycle incident earlier today (Sept. 26). He was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition. His family wants to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support. They ask that you respect their privacy during this time. We will provide an update on his condition as it becomes available.”

The accident comes at a really bad time for Fetty Wap as he just released his self-titled debut album on Friday (Sept. 25). Nevertheless, we are happy to hear that he will recover and continue to make music and perform. It's not clear if the accident will affect his upcoming tour schedule.

Get well Fetty Wap!
