Former Miss Tuscaloosa Gets Second Runner Up in Miss Alabama Pageant

Former Miss Tuscaloosa Cassidy Jacks, represented Trussville at the Miss Alabama pageant last week in Birmingham.

Jacks had a fantastic run in the competition, winning the talent portion and advancing to the Top 12. When the overall judging ended, Jacks received $4,700 in scholarship money and was named second runner up to Miss Alabama Hayley Barber.

The Springville, AL native was also named first runner up for The Community Service Award for her platform of "Feed a Soul, Fill a Heart."

Jacks said in a Facebook post,

I am so honored and happy! Congrats to my friend and our new Miss Alabama!
