So, I'm scrolling through Facebook, reading status updates and watching videos when I come across a video detailing the origin of "Bye, Felicia!" REALLY?

Of course curiosity got the best of me, and I had to check it out to see what was said, and the person in the video stated what I already knew. But what happened after that is what tripped me out. There was a whole list of videos explaining the same thing. So, I did what any self-respecting "coder" would do: I went to YouTube to see just how many of these videos exist.

Most people are aware of my feelings toward slang. If you have to look it up, it's not for you. "Twerking" is not German, neither is "bae" Danish. *eye roll* Lord knows people would probably flip if they discovered that the Nae-Nae isn't simply waving. They'd probably be lost on its origin, too. Never the less, I digress.

HOWEVER, in my brief look into YouTube videos, I came across this gem:

Hold on! Let me back that thang up. (Yes, that was a Juvenile reference. But seriously....) Go back to :20. Did she say the movie "Friday" is just (last year when she made this video) recently starting to surface because of "Bye, Felicia?"

Giiiiirrrrlllllll..... I'm not even going to waste my time.

Bye, Felicia!
