An alleged cop killer is behind bars.According to wiat.com, U.S. Marshals and Tuscaloosa Police Officers arrested James Darby who had an outstanding warrant in New Orleans for violation of the sex offender registration act and also wanted in relation to the fatal shooting of Sergeant Tracey Marshall on Dec. 14 in Jefferson Parish.

Due to his “estranged and troubled relationship” with Marshall, Darby was considered a suspect. Authorities obtained a warrant for Darby’s arrest and took him to the Tuscaloosa County Jail with no bond.
