The time has arrived for our first week of the Future Artist Showcase. Every Monday we will introduce two new songs for you to listen to and vote which you like the best. The winning song will be played on Thursday night. If you want your music heard send it to us here.

Our first song is from local artist Messiah Furr named 'Can't Breath'. Here's how he describes himself and music: "I've been working really hard to get things on the right track. I have written over 300 songs and wrote the rap lyric's on my own and I've also found my own rappers and singers that are featured on the cd. I have the right talent and I'm hard worker "

Our second song is by Tuscaloosa native and UAB student Taylor Britton called 'My Kind of Drug'. Here is how she describes herself: "Tuscaloosa, AL is my home. I performed with the Alabama Blues Project. During that time, I met Fred Coleman and joined his label Zone Music Group, LLC. "My Kind Of Drug." is a self-written single. I attend UAB where I am a Pre-Med Psychology major.

Here's how it works, listen below to the songs and then vote for the one you like the best. You can vote one time per hour per day until Thursday at 5 P.M. The winning song will be announced and played 2 hours later before 'The Quiet Storm'.
