The time has arrived for our nineth week of the Future Artist Showcase. Every Monday we will introduce two new songs for you to listen to and vote which you like the best. The winning song will be played on Thursday night. If you want your music heard send it to us here.

Our first song is by Tuscaloosa native Ramon Johnson called 'Louder Than Words'. Born in Tuscaloosa, raised in Northport, AL. He's been writing and singing since the age of 7. This song was written in 2009 but recorded  in 2014 and performed at blues 24/7 before they closed down.

Our second song is by Tuscaloosa native and UAB student Taylor Britton called ‘My Kind of Drug’. Here is how she describes herself: “Tuscaloosa, AL is my home. I performed with the Alabama Blues Project. During that time, I met Fred Coleman and joined his label Zone Music Group, LLC. “My Kind Of Drug.” is a self-written single. I attend UAB where I am a Pre-Med Psychology major.
