Less than a month after signing his rookie NFL contract, former Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix bought his mother a new house.

The Green Bay Packers rookie shared the special moment on his Instagram account on Monday.

Clinton-Dix was taken with the 21st overall pick by the Packers in the NFL Draft and agreed to a contract worth $8.338 million total. That deal included a $4.384 million signing bonus, which made it much easier to afford the new residence.

Green Bay won't hand him the starting safety role before training camp, but he's expected to win the job and have a big impact on the defense. Fox Sports recently ranked him the 8th most important player on the team for success in 2014.
