Has the torch been passed.

Last night my phone started to ring around 9pm. My friends asked me if I was watching the Australian Open. It looks like Serena will be defeated for the first time by an American younger than she is. I turned on the TV and I see this young African American athelete giving Serena all she can handle. I am Serena's biggest fan. Seeing Serena lose was painful. I have watched her play her entire career. I must admit I'm glad she lost to Sloane Stephens.
