Here comes Tiger!

I had no interest in golf, none, zilch, hated it.  I could not understand for the life of me why anyone would want to play the game and for God’s sake watch it all day on TV.  I mean it ranked pretty close to punishment for me until I saw Tiger Woods play. I was visiting my mother one weekend and she was watching this young black kid playing golf.  Of course I had to hear the whole Tiger Woods story. I sat there and watched golf for the first time and paid attention.  What I saw was amazing to me not just from Tiger but from the players in general.  But it wasn’t until a friend took me to the driving range and I hit a few balls that I really started to like and pay attention to the game. 

Tiger Woods is returning to Torrey Pines to start his PGA tour this season.  Tiger has had great success at Torrey Pines.  Torrey Pines will be graced with the presence of Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Brandt Snedeker  to name a few. The tournament will be January 24-27.  Tiger will make his debut next week in Abu Dhabi.
