How Clean is Your Doctor?

So, you know how you make sure you're "extra clean" when you know you'll be making a visit to your doctor? Well, apparently, not everyone takes the same precaution or care. I know plenty of people that are seriously afraid of going to the doctor, and it seems that some of the fear may not be totally unfounded.

According to this video, there are some hazards at the doctor's office of which we may not be aware.

I've recently begun washing new clothes before wearing them because I imagine all of the people that may have tried on the clothing before I bought it. I try not to think about it WHILE shopping. Otherwise, I'd never try on anything. But this one concerning the doctor's tools..... I just don't know.  How do you avoid that?  Take alcohol swabs to every appointment and wipe them down before allowing the doctor to use the tools on you?
