Hundreds of Female Inmates Sexually Abused At Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women In Alabama

I stumbled across a story this morning that’s very disturbing.

It’s about 900 female inmates in an Alabama prison claiming male officers forced them to perform sexual acts in exchange for basic sanitary products.

According to the article investigators found a pattern of sexual abuse at the facility dating back to 1942.  Prisoner or not, these women are human. To be treated like that is certainly criminal in my view.  Read the full story here.
