Valentine's Day has come and gone, but no one said that was the only day we could express love. And today, I am sooooo in love!  Yes, I said TODAY. Don't act like you don't fall in and out of love.

With whom am I in love? COMCAST!!!

Since August, I have been in school on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  So, I haven't been watching "The Haves and Have Nots" with my grandmother.  I cannot begin to explain how much I miss our dates.  We'd watch the show together and make small talk during commercials.  It may not seem like much, but it meant a lot to me. Now, I never could get into "Scandal," either.  Maybe it was because it airs on another of my school nights.

Anyway, when I first heard about "Empire," I wasn't interested.  I didn't want to watch another dramatic show just to be part of a cultural phenomenon. But one day, I was scrolling through my On Demand menu and came across TV shows.  I saw that I hadn't missed many episodes of "Empire." So, I decided to watch it from the beginning, Oh My Goodness! Why didn't SOMEBODY put me on that show any sooner? Do you know I sat and had myself an "Empire" marathon?  I mean, I watched every episode from the beginning.  The beauty of Comcast is that I could pause the show when I needed to pause it, do what I needed to do, and come back to it! I LOVE THAT!

Well, last night, the snow came just before "Empire" came on.  I had a serious choice to make.  Initially, I just hoped the snow would last overnight so my daughter could play in it today. Instead, I headed to my brother's so our girls could play in the snow together. (You know it's more fun for kids to play with other kids, and since mine is an only child...) I made it home just before the show went off, but I wouldn't let myself watch it because I wanted to see the episode from the beginning.

This morning, I saw that Episode 8: "The Lyon's Roar" had been uploaded to my Xfinity TV Go app. Can I tell you how excited I was? I sat and watched it like a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons.  Wait! Do kids still watch Saturday morning cartoons? Well, you know what I mean.... When we had GOOD cartoons and could fix ourselves a bowl a cereal and watch tv without waking our parents for hours!

When I thought about the fact that I had not only watched one of my favorite shows from my phone but that I'd also been able to watch each episode so I was completely caught up on EVERYTHING, I said to myself, "Comcast, you a bad mother--" and then the other part of my mouth said, "Shut your mouth!" It was at that moment (yes, the moment that I had this nice conversation with myself) that I realized I'm in love with my Comcast services. http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/

Comcast, I luuuhhh you, boo! And I appreciate EVERYTHING you do to make life easier for me. I mean, you do stuff without me even having to tell you what I need.

You just know me so well.  Not only do you take care of me, but you even provide for my child. I can go on and on about how wonderful you are, but of course everyone already knows. And if they don't it's only because they haven't given you a try! Love you, babe.  See you when I get home.  Wait! Then again, you're right here at my fingertips already. *kisses fingers and places them upon the TV GO icon*
