Lane Bryant and Cacique launched a Monday to show how "sexy" really looks. The hash tag "#ImNoAngel" is being used to promote the movement, but is this really inspiring or is it a throw-off on Victoria's Secret and smaller women? Here's the ad:

While it shows that "larger" doesn't necessarily mean "flabby" and that larger women can be as sexy as smaller women, is it a dig against smaller women since Victoria's Secret, which is most known for its lingerie in smaller sizes, refers to its models as "Angels?"

I think the Lane Bryant models look nice. I'm just not sure that making reference to another company that caters to a different body type is displaying the confidence it was intended to show.  Then again, perhaps the campaign is doing exactly what it planned to do by highlighting the fact that they're sexy, despite societal standards.

So, what do you think? Inspiring for larger women or simply shady against smaller women?

P.S.  I saw this on Facebook and thought it was cute.
