Last week I posted a story about what's to become of Mc Farland Mall, because it's one of the truly eyesores here in Tuscaloosa. Another place that catches my attention daily is the old Skyland Elementary school.

I would pass it two or three times a day and wonder why no cars were in front of the school or I never would see a school bus. Funny our receptionist said, "uh. Mickey J it's closed". Yesterday I saw they started the demolishing of the old building. I wonder what's to become of that land, the bulldozers are out there right now crushing it.

Maybe I missed the news report, is it going to become just land for sale for the City or are they building a new school on the location? You it's just one of those things that you should know the answer to but you don't.
