Internet addiction, sometimes referred to as cyberspace addiction or online addiction, can manifest itself in many ways in today's youth.
Has your daughter just spent an entire beautiful weekend tweaking her Twitter page, foregoing a trip with the family to an amusement park?

Have you checked your Internet browser's history only to find out your innocent, naïve teenage son has spent the last five afternoons accessing pornographic Web sites where the titles alone are enough to make you blush?

The Internet is perfect for youth. Today's social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter let them represent themselves as whomever, or whatever, they want.

How do we stop it from becoming an addiction? How do use for it was made for?

Those are the questions that need to be asked and answered.

Technology is great and it has helped us as a society evolve into what we are today. But are our youth really better off because of it?
