It’s Official… Deontay Wilder To Defend Title In Alabama

It's official: Deontay Wilder is bringing a title fight home to Alabama.Wilder the World Boxing Council world heavyweight champion, will fight Eric Molina at Bartow Arena in Birmingham on June 13.
Wilder's co-manager Jay Deas said Monday that the fight was official, meaning it will be the first-ever world title fight in Alabama.
“Now I'm able to bring it back to the state of Alabama as a champion,” Wilder said. “I can give Alabama its very first title fight in history. And I'm all about making history.” According to Al.com and The Tuscaloosa News.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday and the bout will be televised on Showtime.
