Jamie Dornan Signs on to Replace Charlie Hunnam in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’
The frenzied search to find a new male lead for the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie after Charlie Hunnam dropped out is over. Variety reports that Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan has been cast as Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel.
Producers scrambled to find a new star to play opposite Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, raising many fans' hopes that their favorites would finally be cast. But Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder supporters are going to have to make their peace with an official Christian Grey yet again.
Dornan, 31, who notably played the Huntsman on ABC's 'Once Upon a Time,' is a former Calvin Klein model -- good news, since we expect to see him in his underwear on the big screen very soon!
