Brooklyn was in an empire state of mind Tuesday night (Oct. 20) as Jay Z hosted TIDAL's first philanthropic live stream concert at the Barclays Center in New York. The rapper put his celebrity to good use as he brought in artists across the grid including Brooklyn-bred rapper 2 Milly, rising star Justine Skye, international hit Nick Jonas, country singer Thomas Rhett, Def Jam's new princess Alessia Cara, Maybach Music Group crew Meek Mill and Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, and of course his wife Beyonce and her new go-to girl, Nicki Minaj, to perform for the TIDAL X: 10/20 concert.

Since the list of performances and OMG moments could go on for days, The Boombox is here to give you the 411 on all things #TidalX1020. First things first, if Jay Z is involved, you know there's going to be a crowd. And that there was. Thousands of fans flooded the Barclays Center from all directions. With a very public all-star lineup, fans came dressed to impress -- and support -- their favorite acts. Thus, it goes without saying that the BeyHive was in full effect. And how did Queen Bey thank them? By giving a sultry performance of "Feeling Myself" with Nicki Minaj right by her side.

There's no question the curvaceous duo took over the show as they battled one another with butt-dropping moves and clashing pink and black bodysuits. Nicki reminded the audience why she's hip-hop's first lady, strutting across the stage in lace tights and delivering his sharp rhymes.

But Nicki and Bey weren't the only artists that had the crowd on their feet. Meek Mill hit the stage rapping "Dreams & Nightmares," causing everyone to seemingly forget the "Wanna Know" diss track he put out. "Hold up wait a minute, y'all thought I was finished / When I bought that Aston Martin y'all thought that was rented?" he delivered, sending the room into a roar. And it wasn't long before the Philly MC was joined onstage by Rick Ross, followed by DJ Khaled and French Montana.

French gave a nice shout out to Brooklyn and those locked up in hip-hop. "Because we are in Brooklyn, let me say free my n---- Bobby Shmurda!" Then the "Hot N---- (Remix)" sounded off.

Over a three-hour span, fans -- and even those at home were treated to a live stream -- were hit with performances from T.I., Fabolous and Lil Wayne, who joined Hov onstage for "Hello Brooklyn" and ended his performance with a simple Tthank you."

Of course, the show ended with Jay Z and a lovely assist from wifey. Blessing thousands with "Holy Grail," Bey came back out to sing a dramatic version of Justin Timberlake's part -- she even got low on her knees. From the looks of Shawn Carter's face, even he was caught off guard by her non-stop performance.

Ultimately, it was a good night for TIDAL. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and SnapChat is proof of that as the social networks were inundated with photos and videos from the concert. A special moment caught onstage was when Usher and Nas perfored their new collaboration, "Chains."

Then Nas, being the conscious rapper that he is, took time to acknowledge all the chaos going on in the world by saying, "Don't be no hypocrite. We stand in unity for justice America. All funds collected from ticket proceeds are being administered by New World Foundation on behalf of TIDAL to benefit nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing positive community relations and effecting systemic change for the development and sustainability of just societies." In other words, keep the peace America.
