Did Jay Z Turn Down the Chance to Be Kanye West’s Best Man?

Kanye West has called Jay Z his “big brother” but it looks like he won’t be calling him his best man.

According to Perez Hilton, Jigga turned down the opportunity to be ‘Ye’s best man in his wedding with Kim Kardashian because he wants to avoid the reality television cameras.

Apparently, the very private Jay Z doesn’t want to be featured in a ceremony that will likely end up on air on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’

“Jay is Kanye’s closest friend so he wants him to be best man. Jay agreed initially but had one condition — under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife, Beyonce or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony,” a source tells Perez. “The thought of popping up in ‘KUWTK’ mortifies Beyonce. She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion… Bosses at E! are desperate to get the nuptials on air, and will pay millions to make it happen.”

Kim and Kanye have allegedly set May 24 as the day for their nuptials in Paris. Their engagement in October 2013 was aired on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ and neither Jay nor Beyonce was featured.
