Jazmine Sullivan Abused by Boyfriend

Remember when Jazmine Sullivan said she was leaving the music industry about four years ago, saying it just wasn't fun anymore? Well, apparently, an abusive relationship also contributed to her disdain for something she'd loved so much.According to Jazmine, her ex once slapped her so hard she couldn't hear out of one ear. She knew she had to leave him and went into a deep depression but told everyone that music wasn't fun anymore as a means of staying out of the limelight until she got herself together.

I'm so glad she did whatever she needed to do to make a healthy return to the music scene, as NOBODY could replace her soulful, raspy voice!  But this just goes to show that you never know what another person is going through or who is a victim of domestic violence.
