John Legend & Chrissy Teigen Hired Food Trucks to Feed Protesters in New York
The R&B superstar and his wife, who is also a food blogger, wanted to show their support for the protesters by supplying them with much-needed nourishments to keep them strong enough to continue to fight the struggle.
And like the true humanitarian he is, Legend did not take any credit for the supportive act. Teigen did however, retweeted a tweet from Bipartisan Report's Twitter account that let the cat out of the bag.
The soulful singer has been using his social media accounts, however, to bring attention to the fact that all of these years after the Civil Rights Movement, things have still not changed much for people of color in this country.
Legend recently dropped his inspiring song 'Glory,' which features Common, and will be in the highly-anticipated movie, 'Selma,' which opens in theaters on Dec. 25.
