Lanier Automotive is Paying A Furloughed Government Worker’s Power Bill, TODAY!

I feel so bad for everyone that has to suffer because the politicians can't get their "stuff" together!

It is sad that you are expected to go to work with a smile on your face and do your work, knowing that you are not going to get a pay check. What's really sad is that it's thousands of people who are all going through this hardship at the same time! Most have families for which they have to provide.

To make things worse, it doesn't seem like there's a plan in sight to end the shut down. January 20th will make 30 days that the government has been shut down, and after the first 30 days in a furlough status, agencies are required to deliver a second furlough notice to currently furloughed employees.

With all of that being said, this man is always willing to step up to the plate to help out in his community!

Cassius Lanier from Lanier Automotive called into my show as he normally does during the MOJO Midday Mix; but today, he offered to help out a listener who has been furloughed because of this partial government shut down. He is going pay someone's POWER BILL!
