Looks like there may be some changes coming to marijuana laws in Alabama.

According to our daily, State Rep. Mike Ball wants to decriminalize possession of cannabidiol (CBD), which has been proven to aid in numerous medical conditions.

This comes after a study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which is said to have shown near across-the-board reductions in seizures.

If this happens, could Alabama be closer to decriminalizing the actual marijuana plant?  Or would that lead to less crowded prisons and more money for education? Just asking, of course.

What exactly is cannabidiol? Check this out.
