Lil’ Kim Being Investigated After Weekend Robbery at Rental Property in Los Angeles

Lil’ Kim might be in big trouble. The veteran rapper is at the center of a Los Angeles Police Department investigation over a robbery that occurred at a rental property in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, Kim and her entourage visited a home they rented out for a BET Awards party. Apparently, Kim was not happy with the property and asked for her money back. The property owner refused and the group began to argue. Police was later called to the crib and they told both parties that they couldn't help because it’s a civil matter.

Kim and her hanger-ons left the home without their deposit but hours later, at 4AM, armed robbers invaded the property and managed to secure the bag -- Kim’s deposit check and $20,000 in cash. When they exited, the robbers also slashed the car tires of the home owner and swiped a hubcap.

Reps for Lil' Kim had no comment on the matter. We hope that Lil' Kim gets cleared in this case. We don't want to see the Queen B in an orange jumpsuit.

Meanwhile, Lil' Kim is in Los Angeles to reportedly honor Prodigy at the 2017 BET Awards along with Mobb Deep member Havoc. The trio once collaborated on 1999’s “Quiet Storm (Remix).”
