With 74.32 percent of the votes, Mack Wilds proves that you don't need a Grammy or an Academy Award to beat Jennifer Hudson, who only received 25.68 percent of the votes in last week's R&B Sound Off.

‘Wild Things’ is the third single off Mack’s new album, ‘New York: A Love Story,’ out now. Featuring Method Man, the song kicks off with an orchestral opening followed by a beat that’s relatively familiar to the East Coast. Celebrating his love for the Big Apple, Wilds comes out hard, despite his smooth vocals, on how he reps his town.

“Come from the crown side / The New York town side / West side till I di-e / I grew up hearing that Wu-not / Watching that cop that / You feel like cooking this / Hercules get a hand god damn,” he sings.

This week, K-Ci & JoJo will try their luck at taking on Mack in the Sound Off with their new song 'Show & Prove,' off their new LP, 'My Brother's Keeper.' The crooners convince their respective ladies that they have their eye on to leave their current beaus to be with them -- the ones that can treat them better.

"Baby, I got some things I want to show you / And baby, I got some places we can go to / No more playing around / Let's take it old school / 'Cause I'll be your man and you'll be my girl / And together we can face the world," they deliver.

Will Mack Wilds stay strong at the top? Or will K-Ci & JoJo kick this newbie off and become the new kings of the R&B Sound Off? Vote for your favorite song in the poll below. Remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on Tues., Oct. 8, at 10AM ET.

Rules of R&B Sound Off
Two R&B artists sound off against each other each week. The triumphant artist goes on to compete in the next R&B Sound Off. If an artist wins four straight R&B Sound Offs, the song will be honored as immortal in TheDrop.fm R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame.
