Remember the case of Eric Parker, the Madison, AL police officer, who is accused of using excessive force and violating the rights of 58-year-old Sureshbhai Patel during a February encounter? Well, Parker's second trial resulted in a deadlocked jury!

ABC 33/40 reports that Parker's first trial ended in a mistrial with a hung jury in September; and a federal judge has declared another mistrial as a second jury has deadlocked. Wednesday was the fourth day of deliberations.

There is a possibility that this case might not go to trial again, as each trial costs money, and there is always a chance that another jury may not come to an agreement, according to Fox 6. Parker is said to have not shown any visible reaction.
