Makeup Has Its Place, Alicia

Alicia Keys has started this campaign to encourage women to go makeup free.  Ok,  we get it.  All women are beautiful and should not be held to societal standards.  But what about the woman who FEELS better within herself when she wears makeup?

For some people,  not wearing makeup isn't a big deal.  For instance,  this is how I look without any makeup.

And this is how I look most days,  with just a little gloss and liner.

Now,  here I am with foundation and filled in brows.

The brows probably make the biggest difference between the first pic and the last.  But I'm just as comfortable wearing my bare face while working out as I am wearing a full face while hosting an event.  I wouldn't wear a full face while working out or go without makeup for an event.

My point is that there is a time and place for all things,  even makeup.
