Manhunt In Progress For Escaped Greene County Inmate
A manhunt is underway after a Greene County inmate over powered correctional officers late Tuesday night and escaped from the correctional facility in Eutaw. Eric Washington 23, took keys from correctional officers and escaped around 9pm.
Eric Washington is considered armed and dangerous and is serving a 30 year sentence for shooting at a Greene county deputy seven times , cracking the deputies windshield and injuring the deputy.
