With all of the inexperience on offense heading into Saturday's game with USC, Alabama might have to rely on its talented defense to win its 15th straight season opener. That won't be any easy task against an experienced Southern Cal offense.

The Trojans return their top four wide receivers from 2015, which includes preseason All-American JuJu Smith-Schuster. The junior finished with 89 catches a year ago and was the only player in the Pac-12 to average more than 100 receiving yards per game.

Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been watching tape on the 6-foot-2, 215 pound receiver and came away impressed.

"Watching him on film, he's just a big guy, speedy," Humphrey said. "You look at his weaknesses and he doesn't really have any. Adjusts to the ball very well. Watching his film, he's probably one of the better receivers we go against."

Smith-Schuster will get most of the attention when the Trojans have the ball, but the rest of their receiving corp accounted for more than 100 catches and 11 touchdowns.

"They're all just big guys, and they're going to go up and make a play on the ball. One of the biggest things we'll have to do is just try to keep them cut off."

Saturday's game will kickoff at 7PM on ABC and can be heard in Tuscaloosa on Tide 102.9 and 95.3 the Bear.
