As long as I can remember, I've always taken the term "spoiled" to be a negative thing. Now, I'm starting to think that may not be the case.

This week, while many people expressed their desires for me to have a happy birthday, I decided that if anybody asked what I wanted for my birthday, I was going to name something. However, for two people in particular, I didn't even wait to be asked.

My aunt Bonnie texted me Thursday, and I responded to her text by asking her to make some spinach bread and by asking my grandmother to make dinner turkey meat balls. Sure enough, I got them both. My mom makes fun of me all the time, saying I'm spoiled. I just think when I make a request, my loved ones try to fulfill it because I rarely ask for anything and because I am always doing for others.

If that makes me spoiled, I guess I am.
