Michael is My Valentine!

This week was a tough one for me. I received a message Sunday morning that one of my mom's nephews had passed. Michael was only 31.

As I attempted to mentally prepare myself for his funeral today, I was awakened to a call early Thursday saying another close cousin had passed. Jeff was 36. Massive heart attack. He'll be laid to rest next Saturday.

I do my best to make sure everyone around me knows that I love them EVERY day, and if we don't cross paths often, I still make an attempt when we do. I said all that to say this: I know today is the day that was set aside to express how much you love those in your life, but I encourage you to express that love every day. You never know when it'll be your last opportunity. Today, I'll be expressing my love alongside my family... At a funeral. Michael is my Valentine!
