It was announced that there would be a special Michael Jackson moment at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. However, WHAT exactly that would be was kept under wraps... Until now!

According to TMZ, there was to be a MJ hologram performance.  However, that is now being challenged as Alki David -- who says he controls the rights to the hologram  technology -- filed suit late Thursday against the Michael Jackson Estate, MJ's  production company and Dick Clark Productions ... to stop them from showing a  hologram of Michael using David's technology.

I kinda lost interest in award shows about 10 years ago, but one things for sure: I WILL be watching the Billboard Music Awards just in case there is a Michael Jackson hologram performance.  Will you be watching?
