Jackson, known as "The King of Pop," went into cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home as a result of drug interaction. His death was ruled a homicide.

Since his death, Jackson's music has continued to sell. His album Xscape debuted at number 2 on the charts, and his estate has earned over $600 million. Posthumously, Michael Jackson was given the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.

Six years later, many people still mourn the loss of one of the world's greatest performers.
