R&B singer Michel'le is next up to receive a biopic from Lifetime.

The project, which is tentatively titled The Michel'le Story, will show fans her life behind-the-scenes and onstage as she became one of Ruthless Records' platinum selling artists. Michel'le is best known for her powerhouse hits "No More LIes" and "Something in My Heart" since making her debut in 1989.

But aside from her career, Michel'le has had a harrowing personal life -- most notably the physical abuse she endured by her exes Dr. Dre and Suge Knight. The abuse from Dre, which at one time resulted in a broken nose and ribs for Michel'le, was omitted from the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

Many criticized the biopic for excluding Dr. Dre's numerous physical assaults against women including Michel'le and former TV host Dee Barnes -- Although it didn't bother Michel'le.

"I'm not upset that they didn't put me in the movie... It's their movie, right? Their money," she said of the biopic soon after its release.

Michel'le and Dr. Dre have one son together. Afterwards, she married Suge Knight -- which is sure to be an interesting tale to play out on screen as well. The two were married for eight years before divorcing in 2007. But that hasn't stopped Michel'le from grinding -- she's currently one of six members TV One's reality show, R&B Divas: Los Angeles.

Lifetime's previous biopics were on two passing R&B icons, Whitney Houston and Aaliyah. Houston's biopic, Whitney, garnered mixed reviews, while the Aaliyah movie was criticized by Timbaland and fans on social media.

Will you be tuning into the biopic or are you still salty Lifetime's Aaliyah's biopic? Let us know in the comments.
