Mickey J’s Favorite Taco and Margarita is Served Up at Taco Mama

Never thought one of my favorite lunch spots in Tuscaloosa would of all places Taco Mama. I mean I would think BBQ or some really nice home cooking spot would have grabbed my palate . But the Menu they have at Taco Mama is pretty decent and being right there on the strip on University, the sights are pretty nice as well, fellas if you know what I mean.

I frequent the place about twice a week for lunch and after work as well. On Tuesday they have half price Margarita's, everyday from 3pm - 9pm you can get a half pitcher for half price as well.

Sometimes the best place is the unexpected, and in the case of this place that's exactly what has happened. I had my first experience there as I was introduced to the sales staff here at the station and I've been going back every since. Strange that a Mexican joint is one of my favorite spots to eat at here in town. Sometimes the unseen things are the ones that get you the most.

Trust me I'll be going back again and again.
