Miguel ran into trouble for less comedic reasons in Los Angeles early this morning (Aug. 15). The ‘Adorn’ singer was arrested for DUI.

Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that Miguel was pulled over for speeding while riding in a tinted 2013 BMW X6. He apparently failed a breathalyzer test and was taken to a nearby police station where he posted a $5,000 bail. He’s scheduled for a court appearance on September.

The crooner almost faced a lawsuit earlier this year for falling on a fan during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards.

Within the next few weeks, Miguel will debut a new song as part of the Adult Swim Singles Program.
