I love fall. It brings out the best things to do, and the weather is just perfect. Yesterday, I accompanied my boss, Mickey J, at The West Alabama State Fair, while he was doing a remote. Plus, I'm a big kid at heart, so the fair is always exciting.

We arrived before they opened the gates and got to see the workers get ready for opening night. The smell of the fair food was delicious. I didn't get a chance to eat, but I will definitely be returning this weekend for an elephant ear and a corn dog.

The fair has your typical rides, bumper cars, mini roller coasters, and the Ferris wheel. It was a great night out as the new girl in Tuscaloosa. The excitement on the kids' faces upon entering the fair was precious to see. We even had a couple people stop by the station truck to just say hey and pickup a shirt.

All in all, it was a great night. Make sure you bring your family to the fair the last day is Sunday.
