While on vacation, I started a major project in my home. I have ALWAYS hated my kitchen. So, I decided to change it!

Now, let me say this.... I purchased the house with the intention of flipping it. However, life happened. So, I've been living in it since 2008 and making small modifications here and there. There are two things I've realized:

  1. The largest percentage of my household bills goes to my mortgage.
  2. Most of my time off is spent at home.

Therefore, if it's where I spend my time and most of my money, it doesn't make sense to live in a house that I hate. Don't you agree?

(Side note: Right then, I couldn't resist saying to myself, "Ladies and gentlemen.... Sexual Chocolate. They play so beautifully, don't you agree?")

Anyway, little by little, I've been reclaiming my home. You've already seen my den. I forgot to take "Before" pics of it, and I forgot to take "Before" pics of my kitchen, too. However, I do have pictures that can give a general idea of how it looked before everything was completely gutted.

Ugly, right?

Well, we got the demolition process started last Wednesday. Unfortunately, we haven't moved much beyond that point. So, you can imagine how frustrated I must be to be living in a house without a kitchen. Here's a brief look into what's going on.

As I stated at the end, I can hardly wait to show you the finished product (mainly because I can't wait for it to be done)! Be on the lookout for an update.
