Its been a great two weeks in Tuscaloosa, the food is awesome and the people are as sweet as the tea. Southern culture is at it's high here, and I love it.

I'm currently staying with my Godparents, and they love live music and dancing. So last night, they invited me to go with them to Band of Brothers Brewery for the Jazz and Soul Music Festival. I didn't know what to expect, but I was open for anything.

The event was hosted by former band teacher, and well known band player, Loyd Watson Jr. The headliner for the night, was Ezra Brown, a famous horn player who has traveled the world. Also playing was Stillman College Jazz Ensemble and the Pepper Sauce Band. Everyone rocked the packed house.

The food trucks were parked outside. I tried the Cantina truck. I had the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had, and that's BIG because I'm from South Florida.

I also have to mention I saw a couple of my co-workers while I was out, Ben and Monk. Monk actually has a beer named after him and it was really good.

I had a great first night out and I will definitely return for the beer, live music, and welcoming people.
