Today was my follow-up appointment since my last doctor's visit 3 months ago.  What happened was truly remarkable to me.

We often say it's the small things that matter most,  and that was definitely the case for this visit.  For starters,  all of my numbers were REALLY good. So, I was happy.  Then,  it happened....

Time for my pap.

Dr.  Lowther stepped out,  and I was brought a paper gown and sheet.  Same as usual,  right?  Well,  here's where Generations differs.  Once they brought the paper goods,  before exiting,  they put up this room divider.

I know it doesn't seem like much but when I'm about to expose all of my lady bits,  that little divider helped me maintain a small amount of comfort.

The doctor came in,  checked me out,  and actually managed to make me feel comfortable through the ordeal.  Before now,  I'd never felt comfortable just opening up for an exam.  Now,  I can hardly wait for my next one!

Okay,  maybe I went a little too far that time.

But seriously,  I don't think I'll ever have another doctor after being seen by Dr.  Keisha Lowther,  who also takes care of my child,  by the way.  She and her husband Jamie really have a good thing going at Generations Primary Care.
