My Very First Bama Game

First off, let me start by saying I've recently became a fan of football and moving here played a big part in it.

Last night, I had plans to meet on the strip to watch a football game with a friend, but somehow we ended up at the game. Her friend, randomly had an extra pair of tickets.

I've only been through campus a couple of times, and I've always admired the big stadium. Walking into the stadium was crazy. The place is huge, on like an NFL level.

It was 50 degrees out so everyone had on big coats and even blankets. But, I was so in awe by everything the weather didn't really bother me. I'm sure I looked like a kid in the candy store.

I saw a few crazy things, like fans picking up the mascot above their heads and taking him up the stadium stairs. The chants, clearly I need to learn them.

It's just so amazing how a football team can unify an entire community. I had a blast and hopefully I can attend another game - in better weather.
