Fans who were disappointed by the news that New Edition - as a group - won’t be touring together this year can breathe a sigh of relief.

It’s looks like founding NE members Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins will hit the road together as a foursome called RBRM.

Last week, Brown went on his Instagram page and posted a photo of himself with Ronnie, Ricky and Mike. In the caption, Brown writes, “Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky & Mike! #RBRM May 18th in Atlanta, June 16th in Detroit, September [world] tour! Come holla at your boys.”

The absence of Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. In an Instagram post on May 2, Bivins explained the initial reasons why a full New Edition tour wasn't going to happen this year.

Apparently, NE members are feuding over the New Edition name. Ralph and Johnny own the trademark and are refusing to add other group members on it.

"I know yall need answers on why ish is not going down," writes Michael in his IG post. "I will do my part and talk and open up communication to get this ish back on track. With love and honor and respect at the table."

Despite their legal issues, Ricky, Michael and Ronnie continue to tour as Bell Biv DeVoe (aka BBD). The trio will be performing a gig with Brown in June and in August, BBD will rock the mic with Boyz II Men, Jodeci and En Vogue.

As they say in show business, the show must go on.
