New Unemployment Debit Cards for 2017

For those who receive unemployment compensation from the state of Alabama should be checking their mailbox soon. Alabama is changing service providers for their debit cards.All those who use state issued debit cards will be receiving a new one. This does not effect those who get direct deposit to their personal bank accounts.

You need to make sure the Department of Labor has your correct contact information. If you have moved, make sure you give them a call to update your address so that you'll receive your new card. You can call 1-800-361-4524 or go to their website.

The card keeps the same features, and they have added more, such as:

Free account alerts via text or email

Free online bill payment

Unlimited and free automated and live agent customer service assistance.
