I read on fox10phoenix.com that R. Kelly refused to perform because he didn’t get paid.

When are singers, artist are whatever they want to be called going to realize that the very people that got them where they are, are the same people that will send them back where they came from.

The concert promoter is not reason they are stars. The people that buy their music and purchase tickets to see them make them stars, and keeping them happy should be their number one priority.

What are they saying to their audience and loyal fans when they refuse to give them what they have paid for because their business wasn’t handled correctly? It’s not the fans fault that whoever is handling their business dropped the ball, and it’s wrong to punish them for it.

The article said that R. Kelly apologized to his fans in Arizona via his Facebook page saying he didn’t perform because he was not paid by the promoter and it was nothing personal against his fans.

News flash Mr. Kelly when people spend their hard earned money and don’t get what they paid for they take it personal, very personal.

In my opinion R. Kelly should have performed and sued the promoter. After all he has proven he has good lawyers.
