Nicki Minaj Reveals Personal Struggles on ‘All Things Go’

It's not easy being a global rap star. You have countless responsibilities and you're pulled in multiple directions, making it hard to spend time with family and friends or have some down time.

That's the basic concept of Nicki Minaj's new song, 'All Things Go,' an introspective song in which she discusses a slew of personal challenges.

"I lost my little cousin to a senseless act of violence / His sister said he wanted to stay with me, but I didn't invite him / Why didn't he ask, or am I just buggin'? / 'Cause since I got fame, they don't act the same," she spits over production from Vinylz, Boi-1da and Allen Ritter.

The heartfelt tune will be on the Queen Barb's highly-anticipated new album, 'The Pinkprint,' slated to drop on Dec. 15. If the bulk of it sounds like this particular song, listeners are in for way more than just a feel-good party LP. Especially with personal lyrics like this:

"Cherish these nights, cherish these people, life is a movie but there will never be a sequel / And I'm good with that, as long as I'm peaceful / As long as seven years from now I'm taking my daughter to preschool," she rhymes in the first verse.
