Northport Police Department Approved for New Uniforms

Northport Police will soon be sporting a new look as the City Council approves the purchase of new uniforms. 

The new uniforms will not only change color from Navy blue to black, but will also feature a tab for a body-mounted camera.

According to Northport Police, the change in uniforms is part of the re-branding of the department, which will include more community involvement and a greater visual presence.
