While everyone is focused directly on this week's Alabama home game against LSU, oddsmakers have already released early lines for the month's biggest games and that includes the Iron Bowl.

According to Sportsbook.ag, Alabama currently sits as a 13.5-point favorite over Auburn. Even though the game will be played on The Plains this year, the Crimson Tide is a big favorite over the last place team in the SEC West. With that game just over four weeks away, the line will shift a little either way depending on how each team progresses, but this number won't change too much.

While the number certainly looks inflated for a rivalry game, the recent history of the series shows that Alabama has won convincingly during the Saban era. The Crimson Tide has beaten the Tigers in five of the past seven matchups with an average margin of victory of just under 26 points.

The only other future game on Alabama's schedule with a point spread already established is the Mississippi State road test on November 14. Nick Saban's team is a 7.5-point favorite in that one.
